Juan de Fuca Soccer will be honouring our Provincial Cup, Island Champion, League Champion and District Cup Champion Teams.
This event will be held May 18th at 7:00 pm in the Royal Bay High School Theater, 3500 Ryder Hesjedal Way in Colwood.
All team members, coaching staff's and family members are encouraged to attend to help us celebrate another outstanding season here at Juan de Fuca Soccer.
Your JDF Executive is looking to fill 2 positions on the board for this coming fall.
JDF Equipment Manager (Voting Position)
- To assign all field equipment to teams and maintain an up to date inventory of all available field equipment.
- To recommend renewal of old or worn field equipment and to purchase, upon approval of the Executive, any new field equipment.
- To keep the available field equipment in good order and monitor the condition of netting at all venues and recommend replacement as needed to the Executive.
- Attend monthly board meeting and participate in all discussions surrounding the day to day operation of the association and voting on issues where needed.
JDF Timbits Coordinator (Non-Voting Position)
- Help Build teams in the U4, U5 and U6 divisions and assign coaches to teams.
- Oversee the program on Saturdays includes help with set up and take down of equipment.
- Work closely with the JDF Timbits Technical Director on Program Implementation.
- Attend board meeting once a month giving updates on the program as needed.

JDF Soccer will be doing 2016-17 season assessments for Girls and Boys U11 to U18 from April 13 to June 26 on Wednesday/Thursday night's (one hour sessions between 6 and 8 pm) and Saturday/Sunday (one hour sessions between 11 am and 4 pm). Not all days and times will be utilized. Three sessions will be scheduled for each age group and participants are not required to attend every session but as many as possible. The participants must be registered at time of the assessment (for insurance purposes) and there will be representatives checking everyone on the field is registered.

The VIPL or Gold assessment sessions are combined, so attending these session means you want to play either VIPL or Gold not just the higher of the 2 levels. U12 and U13 there is only GOLD no VIPL at these ages.

A reminder that the coach or manager is to gather ALL of your player's jerseys and return the clean set to the locker in exchange for the deposit cheques. Any missing jerseys should be identified by player and parent. If a jersey is not returned we will cash the players deposit cheque by May 1st 2016
All returns will be at the Rugby Canada Locker #4 (Equipment) and #6 (Jerseys) at West Hills Stadium.
Uniform Return Info/FAQ Answers
Pinnies (clean) are to be returned to the Equipment Manager with your soccer balls etc.
Only Blue and White (if you have a set) numbered jerseys (U11-U18) and reversible jerseys (U7-U11) and Adult Team jerseys are to be returned. U11 teams need to return both their numbered and reversible jerseys.
Tim Bit Jerseys are not to be returned
Socks and Shorts are not to be returned
If you are unable to return on the days provided, please get your jersey(s) to someone on your team who can.
If you require white jerseys for tournament or cup play please contact me at least 2 weeks in advance at the above noted email, with a team roster for numbers and sizes. We will try to accommodate as best we can.
If you are playing in the spring soccer program you will receive a different uniform
JDF Soccer is very proud to announce our BC Provincial bound “A” and “B” Cup teams, our League Champion teams and our District Cup Finalist teams and for 2015/16 Season.
“A” Cup which our VIPL teams qualify for, our U18 VIPL Boys team has qualified for Coastal Cup and the BC Provincial Tournament.
“B” Cup which our Gold teams qualify for, our U15 Gold Boys and U14 Gold(Soberg) Boys teams have qualified for Coastal Cup and the BC Provincial Tournament.
League Champions, U14 Gold(Soberg) Boys and U13 Gold Girls which allow them to play in the Island Tournament of Champions.
District Cup Finals which our Gold, Silver and Bronze teams have qualified for are our:
U13 Gold Boys, U13 Silver Boys, U13 Silver Girls, U13 Bronze Boys
U14 Gold(Johnson) Boys, U14 Gold Girls
U15 Silver Boys
U17/18 Gold Boys, U17/18 Silver Girls
